We stopped for a midday break on a long drive to the coast and were glad we did. All the dishes were excellent and well presented. The service polite and friendly. The grilled shrimp lunch nicely seasoned, the fried frog's legs tender and tasty and the fried catfish good too.
I'm really glad we stopped here on our way to Galveston. It was recommended by a coworker and definitely good reason! It was my first time trying fried softshell crab and it was very good! My husband got the chicken fried steak, which I don't normally like, but it was also really good. Also a really nice view! I love their pond.
The food here was absolutely delicious. The atmosphere has a good vibe. I recommend this place if you’re looking to eat some good food

So glad we found this place! Great for littles for a rest stop! Candy store, restaurant, and safe patio area to watch/feed the ducks!! Perfect stop. And the food was SO good!! Shrimp tacos are elite! Nicest people
Just had a wonderful meal it Pinchers. Generous portions. Shrimp and catfish were both excellent. Hubby loved the crawfish mashed potatoes. Tea is always iffy when you try a new restaurant but Pinchers tea was exceptional. Everything about the meal was great and best of all Valerie was attentive without being pushy and so, so sweet. Would recommend Pinchers to anyone and will definitely stop when we travel this way again.
Awesome find on our way to Mexico! Food was delicious. Atmosphere was cool and we loved the outdoor pond area. Candy store onsite as well We will definitely be back!
We stopped here on the way to Port Lavaca. It was great from the start. We fed the ducks and turtles and then went to the backyard for the kids to play while we waited for the food. ALL the food was delicious from kids meals to crawfish, to the red fish ponchatrain, to my coconut shrimp. Oh, and the greens beans YUM! The server said she’s been there 5 years (didn’t catch her name) and she was great. Very attentive! Next time we go to Corpus — we know where we will be stopping. Love, Houstonians
We've driven by this place for years going between Corpus Christi and Houston and always wanted to stop but never went by at the right time. Today we made it a point to have lunch there. It was great! Cute little place, really good food. Definitely will stop again, even if just getting food to go home! The candy shop next door is good, too!
We had the pleasure of eating lunch here on 6/1. We were greeted by two sweet young ladies. The restaurant had an ocean theme and the ambience is open and inviting. Seating options include booth, table and an outdoor area overlooking the pond filled with fish (you can feed them too). We ordered the Boil n Pot Special, Crawfish Etouffee and one pound of Snow Crab Legs (they were out of King Crab Legs 🙁). Everything was delicious and very tasty. Even though the boil and crab legs were market price; it was still worth every penny. We’ll definitely be back. We’re over the road drivers so finding a place we can park our truck and trailer is a challenge. The should on the frontage road has ample space and we had no issues. The restrooms are clean too. Next door is a nostalgic candy store that takes you back to being a kid.
